What are session fees?
Session Fee covers a pre-session consultation, the photographer’s time (normal sessions last one to two hours), talent, equipment, local travel to and from session (or the use of my studio), an online slideshow viewing session, and individual artistic post-processing of images (including professional retouching). It does not include prints.
Session Fee… $125 for 1-2 people
Each additional person: $40
Newborn Sessions… $165
Newborns are best photographed between 5-10 days old – book before your due date! Newborn sessions are usually between 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours to accommodate for feeding, fussiness, etc.
Session fees do not include prints.
Children and Babies
I love just letting kids be kids and capturing them in their moments rather than trying to get them to sit just so. I find that all my favorite images of my own daughter have been taken when she she was just being herself – playing, singing, reading…I try to schedule enough time for these sessions so children can relax and enjoy the experience.
Feel welcome to bring as many clothing changes as you’d like … I love it when clients spice things up! You are also free to bring any unique items that are special to you (for instance, a child’s teddy bear or a colorful umbrella).
Children’s portraits can be done in studio or on location. These usually run about 1- 2 hours to allow for things such as feedings, snacks, short breaks or diaper changes. This sitting fee guarantee that you will get at least one photo that you love. If, for some reason, we don’t – for whatever reason (fussy baby… funny faces…), I will either schedule a re-shoot at no additional charge or issue a full refund, at my discretion. This also includes a CD of low resolution images of the entire session. (Suitable for uploading for online viewing)
*Depending on the distance – there may be additional travel charges. All additional pricing will be discussed and agreed upon prior to photo session so there are no surprises.
Baby on the Way – Maternity Session
Congrats on your impending new arrival! It’s a great time to capture the excitement and forever remember you beautiful baby bump! The session includes a pre-session consultation, This session usually ranges from 1-2 hours and can be all about you or you can include daddy and, if you have others children, them as well. Maternity sessions can be done in studio or on location (depending on weather).
Bring as many changes of clothing – it’s always good to have more and we can play around with different looks. Again, if you have any special items you want to include in your shoot, bring them along as well.
Love is in the Air – Engagement Session
I really like to see the magic between you and capture your excitement as you get ready to start your lives together. I like to try unusual locations, too – urban city or rural fields… Let’s show what makes you a unique couple in love. Along those lines, I also like to see your personalities come through in your attire – get funky! Bright spots of color, cool Converse and a hip tie, sexy heels and jeans … spice it up! Please check out the “families & couples” section in the clothing guide I’ll send you for a few tips on clothes.

This session includes an extensive pre-consultation and brain storming session to come up with the absolute right idea for you portrait.
